Susan grew up in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from Baylor University, where she met her husband, Eddie, and went on to teach for 21 years at Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. She enjoys reading, watching mystery shows, traveling, crafting, rooting for Baylor, and spending time with her four children and six grandchildren. After years of involvement in Sunday School classes, VBS, GAs, and Good News Club, Susan feels funny if she is not doing something with kids - whether it's her own grandkids or those she knows from church and school - and she loves being with them all.
