Why Give?
Giving is worshipful obedience. We believe that the Bible instructs us that the tithe (a tenth of our income) belongs to the Lord to support the ongoing ministry of the local church and that additional offerings are given out of the abundance with which we have been blessed.
Supporting Our Mission: The Annual Budget
At The Fields, we believe that every resource entrusted to us belongs to God, and we are called to be faithful stewards of His provisions (1 Chronicles 29:14). Our annual operating budget is much more than a financial spreadsheet—it is our collective ministry plan in action. It reflects our core priorities of worship, discipleship, community care, and fulfilling the Great Commission both locally and globally. When you regularly give tithes and offerings to our general operating budget, your financial gifts directly support our mission as a church.
Lottie Moon Christmas Offering
Church Goal: $250,000
The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering is an annual missions offering collected by all Southern Baptists churches to support international missionaries. It was named after Lottie Moon, a missionary serving in China, who began writing letters challenging the American church to send and support missionaries in China. 100% of your offering goes to IMB missionaries to allow them to continue their ministry of gospel transformation among the unreached. Help reach the nations with the gospel by giving to our missionary partners this Christmas season!
The Wayne and Theresa Allen Endowment Fund provides a special means by which members and friends of First Baptist Church at The Fields may leave a legacy that will continue to glorify God both now and into the future.
