Sunday, February 23
4:30 pm • Room 1
Join us for this exciting event on Sunday, February 23, from 4:30 to 5:30 pm in Room 1. If you have children or students in your circle-of-influence as a parent, grandparent, foster parent, or care-giver then you are encouraged to be a part!
We will be showing you the Family Discipleship Path that helps equip you as the Primary Faith Trainer of your home. It also provides resources and a structure for you to disciple the children in your family. It is a new approach to our Family Ministries here at The Fields - you don't want to miss out!

Growing in faith is a lifelong journey, starting from birth and continuing throughout life. Equipping each generation to spiritually lead the next is a key part of this journey, beginning within the family.
At First Baptist Church at The Fields, we believe that the church and family should partner to nurture the next generation of Christians. Discipleship involves both the church and the family, and we believe that God has uniquely equipped parents to be the primary faith trainers of their children.
To effectively work together in raising the next generation of believers, we need a shared path. We call this the Family Discipleship Path. Everything we do at First Baptist Church at The Fields is designed to help people grow on this lifelong journey.
As the primary faith trainer of your family, you have the God-given responsibility to have Consistent Faith Talks, Capture God Moments, and Celebrate Milestones. No one else can take your place on this path. Will you join us?
Our mission is to encourage, equip, and engage families to take continuous steps of obedience for generational faithfulness.

Faith Talks
Intentional family time set aside weekly for conversation around Scripture. Faith talks vary by family and can happen at meals, in the car, or through activities like Bible study or verse memorization. The goal is for your family to spend time together weekly in scripture-based discussions.
Faith Talk ideasCapture God Moments
Turning ordinary moments into opportunities to teach spiritual truths. God moments happen around moments in everyday life. They can happen anywhere—on a walk, watching TV, listening to the radio, or riding in the car. No moment is too big or too small. The goal is to continuously seek moments in your day to direct your family to Biblical truths and the nature of God.
